Project Description
In order to promote the development of the country, the government of St. Lucia officially launched the country's Citizenship by Investment Programme in 2015, which was revised in 2023 to allow investors to obtain citizenship directly from St. Lucia by donating a certain amount of money to the country to help it develop.
In February 2024, the government of St Lucia further improved the Citizenship by Investment Act by introducing the National Infrastructure Investment Programme (NIIP), which allows applicants to apply for citizenship by donating to the country's infrastructure. According to the bill, applicants can donate to the following areas:
- Speciality Restaurants
- Cruise ports and terminals
- Agricultural Products Processing Plant
- Medical Products
- Ports, Bridges, Roads and Motorways (Infrastructure)
- Research Institutes and Facilities
- Offshore University
- Housing Projects
- Social Development Projects
- Investment Services
Donation Amount:
Family of four or less - $240,000
Each subsequent dependent under the age of 18 - $10,000
Each subsequent dependent over the age of 18 - $20,000
Application Requirements
- The principal applicant must be at least 18 years old
- The applicant does not have any criminal record
- Applicants are required to complete the required donations in accordance with the requirements of the Programme.
