Project Description

The New Zealand Immigration Act provides that an applicant may invest NZ$10 million (‘NZ$’) in a product or organisation specified by the New Zealand Government for a period of 3 years under the Investor 1 Resident Visa Scheme (‘Investor 1’) or maintain the investment for a period of 3 years under the Investor 2 Resident Visa Scheme (‘Investor 2’). invest NZ$10 million (‘NZ$’) in a product or organisation designated by the New Zealand Government and maintain the investment for a period of 3 years; or invest NZ$3 million in a product or organisation designated by the New Zealand Government and maintain the investment for a period of 3 years, under the Investor 2 Resident Visa (‘Investor 2 Visa’). Under the Investor 2 Resident Visa Scheme (hereinafter referred to as ‘Investor 2 Resident Visa’), invest NZ$3,000,000 in the New Zealand Government's designated products or organisations and maintain the investment for a period of 4 years.

New Zealand Immigrant Investor Application Requirements

• Applicants must be aged 65 or below

• 3 years or more experience in running or managing a business

• Minimum investment of NZD 3 million in a product or organisation designated by the New Zealand Government for a period of 4 years.

• IELTS score of 3 or above, or equivalent level of English language proficiency.

• Permanent residence in New Zealand

• Length of stay in New Zealand: 44 days per year in New Zealand for the last 2 years of the 3 years.

6. Completion of investment within 12 months of obtaining approval-in-principle

7. Obtained official authorisation for 2-year residence status

8. Apply for a 2-year visa extension after 2 years

9. Apply for Permanent Resident status after the investment period
