Common EB-1A occupations include doctors, engineers, researchers, university professors, sports players, and artists. Each applicant's situation is evaluated on the basis of his or her unique accomplishments and contributions, and it is not necessary to meet all of the detailed criteria at the same time.

The application process includes collecting applicant biographical information, developing a customised immigration plan, filing Form I-140, waiting for approval, conducting a consulate interview, and ultimately obtaining a permanent green card.
