Technology Talent Admission Scheme (TechTAS)

Project Description

Technology Talent Admission Scheme (TechTAS) allows eligible companies to employ overseas and Mainland technology talents, and these eligible companies need to first obtain a valid quota (valid for two years) granted by the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC). The applicant must be sponsored by the employer of the ITC and be remunerated at not less than the market rate for an equivalent position, so that he/she can come to work in Hong Kong with a work visa through the Science and Technology Talent Admission Scheme.

Programme Strengths

• No scoring system, no need to compete for high scores
• Getting an income from work

Application Requirements 

• Employment by eligible companies
• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) (at least 1 year of relevant working experience is required for Bachelor's degree holders; no working experience is required for Master's or PhD degree holders)
